Women in Sport Leadership Programme

Applications are now open for our Women in Sport Leadership Programme, beginning on November 15th in Derg Isle, Scariff.
This 5 month programme is designed to empower women involved in clubs — whether as coaches, committee members, or volunteers — to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and positively influence their sport and community.

Spaces are limited, so we encourage early registration.

Please share this opportunity with all the women in your club — we would love to see strong representation from across Clare’s sporting community.

Be Part of Our New Video Documentary Series!

We are creating an exciting new video documentary series for our website and social media platforms to showcase and celebrate female athletes from across Clare.

We are looking for teen girls and adult women aged 13 to 30 who are excelling in their sport — whether that’s at county, national, or international level.

If you know someone in your club who fits this description and would be interested in taking part, please get in touch.
This project aims to promote clubs and inspire the next generation of girls to stay involved in sport.

Safeguarding Courses

Our November safeguarding courses are now fully booked. The following dates currently have limited spaces available:

We can also assist your club in organising a dedicated Safeguarding 1 workshop directly for your members if preferred.

It remains essential that all club coaches hold a valid safeguarding qualification, and that Child Protection Officers and Designated Liaison Persons complete Safeguarding 2 and 3 respectively.

Clare Sports Partnership Club Initiatives

We continue to run a variety of Season of Respect Club Initiatives, including targeted programmes addressing abuse against officials and LGBTQI+ advocacy training.
We encourage all clubs to take part to help foster safe, welcoming, and respectful environments for everyone involved in sport.

You can express interest in attending these programmes by clicking the buttons below.

Active Clubs

We are looking at running a series of coach education workshops in the new year, which will be open to all sports.
If there is anything specific you would like to see included or any particular topics that would benefit your coaches or club, please let us know.

Your feedback will help us tailor these workshops to best meet the needs of clubs across Clare.
