Saturday, May 10th

 West Clare Cycling Club – Crotty Cup, KilrushIn it’s 91st year, the Crotty Cup will host three separate races on the course at the same time so if you’re not in you can’t win, The Crotty Cup, Cotter Cup, and the West Clare A3 Cup. Register HERE. 

Killaloe Social Spin – beginning at Clarisford Park at 11am. No registration needed, just show up ready to go!

Sunday, May 11th

Spanish Point Social Spin – This FREE 15km cycle will take in stunning views of the Wild Atlantic Way on this easy pace spin. Starting from Spanish Point Beach at 9.30am. Open to all adults 18+. Register HERE. 

Monday, May 12th

Corporate Cycling ChallengeCycle Clare (360km) collectively as an organisation and be entered into a draw to win a €200 voucher for a local café near your organisation! Once registered you will receive a link to join a Strava group which will track your adventure all the way! Register HERE 

Cycle to School – Clare Sports Partnership encourages all primary school children to cycle to school or host cycling activities within their school grounds during bike week to win a free cycling skills workshop for your class or school! Tag @ClareSports on social media to be entered. Competition running from 9am Monday May 12th – 5pm Friday May 16th.

Balance Bike Workshop – Looking to help your little one gain confidence on two wheels? Join our fun balance bike workshop. Taking place in Cloughleigh from 4pm – 5pm. Register HERE.

Tuesday 13th

Learn to Cycle -This FREE 90-minute workshop will help you gain confidence in your cycling skills. All basics covered. Beginning at 9am at the Clare Sports Partnership Office (V95 F782). Open to all adults 18+. Register HERE. 

Shannon Ice-Cream Spin –  Organised by Club Rothaíochta Na Sionainne. Beginning from Shannon Comprehensive School at 6.45pm. Under 18’s must be accompanied by an adult. Register HERE. 

Wednesday, May 14th

Inclusive Cycling –  Clare Sports Partnership deliver 6-week Learn to Cycle programmes on Wednesday evenings for children with Autism and children with Disabilities. For more information contact James on 087-9627696 or email james@claresports.ie.

Thursday, May 15th 

Off-Road Cycling Try your hand at off road cycling in Dromore Woods. You are sure to enjoy this! Beginning at 1pm. Open to adults 18+. Register HERE

Friday, May 16th 

Loophead E Bike CycleJoin us for a 34km spin from Carrigaholt to Loophead and returning to Carrigaholt via the  Bridges of Ross. E-Bikes and helmets can be provided. Beginning at 10am. Open to adults 18+. Register HERE.

Saturday, May 17th

Kilfenora Social Spin – Join us on this 20km cycle to celebrate National Bike Day. Leaving Kilfenora village at 2pm. Open to all adults 18+. Register HERE

Bike Bingo – Perfect for Children and families, this activity combines the fun of bingo with the thrill of exploring your local area on two wheels! Register HERE.

Primary School Cycling Coaching – During National Bike Week, cycling coaches will carrying out workshops in primary schools throughout the county. Participants will learn all the fundamental skills of cycling and will be given the opportunity to practice them in their school setting.
