Teen Girls Wellness Event

The feedback we’ve received from coaches and clubs over the last number of years highlights the need for greater efforts to help teenage girls remain engaged in sport. This feedback has inspired us to create a teen girls’ wellness event aimed at addressing the issue. As part of the wellness event, we’ll host a panel of experts in sports nutrition, sports psychology, sports science, and fitness and exercise, followed by an interactive Q&A session. There will also be some brilliant prizes up for grabs on the day. The wellness event is open to teen girls of all ages and abilities as well as any coaches, parents or teachers that would like to attend to enhance their knowledge of teen girls in sport.

It would be great if you could share this event among the coaches, parents and teens within your club and community.

Volunteer in Sport Awards

Let’s Celebrate Clares Unsung Heroes!

Every week in our county and beyond, over 450,000 volunteers bring sports and physical activity to life. These dedicated individuals are the backbone of our local clubs, showing up rain or shine to keep our communities active and connected. Now it’s our chance to honour them!

The Volunteer in Sports Awards are here to recognise these local legends, and we want Clare to shine. Let’s make sure the commitment of our own volunteers gets the spotlight it deserves. Nominate your club’s superstar today and show your county pride! #VolunteerInSportsAwards
