This is a FREE exciting 8-week physical activity programme for HSE staff working in Ennis Primary Care Centre.
The programme consists of one physical activity session per week, starting Tuesday September 9th.
Please note – there is a limited amount of space in the room and so there can only be a maximum of 15 participants per class. Please indicate on the registration form which day you will be attending class each week.
Weekly classes will take at the following times in the Cardiac Rehab Gym on the second floor in Ennis Primary Care Centre.
Classes will consist of resistance training, yoga and zumba.
To ensure everyone has the chance to participate in resistance training, Zumba, and yoga, the classes will rotate each week.
For example:
Week 1: Tuesday – Resistance Training, Thursday – Zumba
Week 2: Tuesday – Zumba, Thursday – Resistance Training
Week 3: Tuesday – Yoga, Thursday – Resistance Training
…and so on.
Each participant will receive exercise equipment consisting of a set of light dumbbells, a resistance band and a yoga mat to use and keep as part of the programme.
This is a fantastic way to start your physical activity journey or to ease yourself back into exercise. What’s more is that, the Healthy DOJO programme offers a brilliant opportunity for you to get to know those working in the same field as you whilst having fun!
Please be advised that registration with Clare Sports Partnership is mandatory to participate in this programme.
Under no circumstances will individuals be permitted to attend a class without prior registration.
Furthermore, if you are unable to attend a class, your place cannot be taken by someone who is not registered. Substitutions are not allowed.
These rules are in place to ensure the safety and smooth operation of the programme.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in following these guidelines.
