We were delighted to collaborate with Clare Caving Club and the Speleological Union of Ireland (SUI) on a Women in Sport Caving Programme in 2024.
Following a taster caving day with the Burren Outdoor Education Centre, six participants were selected to join Clare Caving Club with their membership paid by CSP through Women In Sport funding.
Thanks to the SUI club grant, additional safety equipment was purchased to enable the programme to progress.
Special thanks to Colin and all the leaders in Clare Caving Club for taking such an active role in welcoming and educating the ladies on their club caving trips.
