Lots of Learning on Ballyalla Lake

8 participants took part in our beginner teen girls kayaking summer camp from July 11^th – July 15^th this year. The camp took place in Ballyalla Lake, Ennis, in conjunction with Clare Water Sports. The target group for this camp were teen girls who participate in little to no physical activity. The kayaking camp was a great success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The participants not only did kayaking throughout the week, but they also got to experience standup paddle boarding on Ballyalla Lake. Feedback from the programme was extremely positive with a parent eluding to the fact that her daughter had ‘made great bunch of friends and gained confidence in herself and her and abilities in the water’. One participant also stated the following, ‘It was brilliant really enjoyed myself from start to finish thank you’.
