West Coast Surf Club promote and foster the sport of surfing with emphasis on good sportsmanship and citizenship, improving the public image of surfing in the community and support the conservation of our coastal environment.
West Coast Surf Club’s goal is to plan, create, sponsor and hold family oriented activities related to the beach and surfing and stimulate public interest in all aspects of these activities. They do this through their competitions, leagues, inclusion programs, women in surfing program and through beach and ocean conservation activities. They hold a special place for the development of their young surfers who will continue this legacy themselves.
About: WCSC are providing Surfing Lessons (Taster Sessions) for all ages during the Clare Outdoor Recreation EXPO. Note, children 7+ years of age can join provided they are comfortable in waist high water.
Where: Lahinch Beach
Dates/times: 26th July @ 7:30 PM
Cost: €20 membership once off for adults, €15 for juniors. Hire of wetsuits and boots €15. Boards provided free of charge.
