Welcome to our sports club grant scheme! We are excited to introduce an initiative designed to support and empower sports clubs in our community. Our small club grant scheme aims to provide financial assistance to sports clubs to help them achieve their goals, enhance their programs, support volunteers, and contribute to the overall well-being of our local sports community. This page will provide an overview of our sports club grant scheme, including its purpose, eligibility criteria, the application process, and the benefits it can provide to sports clubs. Whether you are a grassroots sports club or a well-established organization, our grant scheme is designed to help you thrive and make a positive impact on the lives of athletes, coaches, and sports enthusiasts in our community.
Clare Sports Partnership has secured club development funding from Sport Ireland to support sports clubs in County Clare. This year’s small grant scheme aims to help clubs to support increased participation in Sports and Physical Activity and develop opportunities within our target groups – young people, women in sports, disadvantaged groups, ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, and older adults.
Sports clubs and volunteers play a crucial role in promoting physical and mental health, fostering social connections, and building character and life skills. By providing opportunities for individuals to engage in physical activity, sports clubs promote physical fitness and well-being. Moreover, participation in sports clubs can contribute to the development of important character traits and life skills such as teamwork, leadership, discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
